Company: Financial Asset Resolution, LLCJob Title: Collections SpecialistJob Type: Full-timeLocation: Schaumburg, IL.Pay: Base Salary plus CommissionJob Summary:Collection Specialists at Financial Asset Resolution, LLC (FAR) are tasked with managing a 3-million dollar portfolio so that they may properly locate and contact consumers in order to negotiate settlements on past-due delinquencies. A Collection Specialist should be well versed in (or able to completely learn) the FDCPA and many other state and local laws. Knowing these laws will assist in the proper settlement procedure and will ensure professionalism and respect while contacting consumers. Proper documentation and system queue management are invaluable to the settlement process, therefore a Collection Specialist should be organized and be able to maintain a proper work pace. A Collection Specialist should work well under pressure and be able to meet individual and company goals by specific deadlines.Responsibilities:? Learn all Credit and Collection Laws, state, federal, and local. Be prepared to pass and examination with over 70% correct.? Gain product knowledge of defaulted accounts? Develop ability to negotiate arrangements to resolve past-due accountso Resolve account through lump sum offers and payment installment plans? Clear and professional voice? Respond to customer needs in a prompt, courteous, and accurate manner.? Calm and non-aggressive sales approach and delivery? Ability to obtain new location information? Learn a new Collection Software to service and maintain an inventory of 1300 account, $3mm face value of receivables.? Keeping thorough, accurate and timely documentation of all customer contacts and maintain confidentiality of customer information.Minimum Requirements:? High School Diploma or equivalent? Computer literate and proficient? Excellent verbal communication and persuasive ability? Strong negotiation skills? Must be able to learn the FAR Positive Working Values and Company Culture? No experience required, but must effectively pass an FDCPA test after proper training.Pay:? Full-time position (40-hours)? Competitive base, plus no-cap monthly Bonus Earning Potential?
